Smiling Snowmen

Today Mrs. Jenkins was taking down the tree and putting away all of the decorations. These little guys are her favorites. Each year she adds a few more to her collection. Just before tucking them all away in the storage boxes she snapped this photo. This is the only snow you will see in Jacksonville this winter!

TGIF

Lunch in the classroom moved outside so we could enjoy a perfect December day in Florida. Even though Mrs. Jenkins has lived in Florida for 15 years she still appreciates being able to wear a short sleeve shirt outside in December. These little darlings are enjoying lunch outside because they made excellent choices in class all week.

Beauclerc Decorates Doors

Jan Brett's The Mitten was the inspiration for this door decoration outside Mrs. Jenkins' classroom. But the real message is the friends we have found in rooms 44 and 45. Come on down and see our photos on the mittens.

What's New in Reading?

Students in Mrs. Donnelly and Mrs. Jenkins' homerooms are drawing conclusions and making inferences. These students know it is all about thinking when your are reading!
