Party a Big SPLASH!

Mrs. Donnelly and Mrs. Jenkins' class parties were a splashing success thanks to some fun water relay races. The day was filled with excitement from a cherry pit spitting contest, jigsaw puzzle contests, Shiloh bingo, to a delicious lunch with Coach Dudjac at the grill. What an awesome way to end the year!

HERO Quilt is Almost Complete

After drawing a picture on paper students copied their illustration on a fabric square. Mrs. Jenkins sewed them all together to create a patriotic quilt for one of our favorite HEROES! A few finishing touches and the quilt will be done.

Final Flag Raising

Thank you to our junior photographer, Nicole Avila-Kuhn for the excellent shots during our final flag raising for the school year.

Our New Favorite Author

Students in Mrs. Jenkins' classes finished reading Shiloh, by Phyllis Reynolds Naylor on Friday. They fell in love with Marty and Shiloh, the dog he bought from a man who was mistreating his dogs. The class was very excited to discover that Shiloh is a trilogy! Next week they will enjoy the Shiloh series videos and then rush to the public library to get started on their summer reading of Shiloh Season and Saving Shiloh. Thank you Mrs. Naylor for an excellent end of year novel.
