Ready for SPRING BREAK!!!

See you all on March 24!

Wild Wonders "Wowed" Us

Thank you to Michael Rossi from Wild Wonders Animals Show!  We were engaged, entertained and educated all at the same time at our Beauclerc Extravanza.

Lots of lucky fourth graders (and teachers) go to hold animals.  Alphonso held a ferret, Tariq, Tyler and Laysha held snakes.  Knowledge got to hold the large snake in the photo above, but there were other children in the photo so I could not put it on the blog!

Fantastic Sandcastic!

Check out this amazing Cat in the Hat sand sculpture!  We watched this artist as he transformed a pile of sand into one of our favorite Dr. Seuss characters. Are you ready to try this at the beach?

Beauclerc Extravaganza Begins with a Blast!

8:45 am our Extravaganza began with a bright blue sky and a cool breeze and an awesome parade! Check out our 4th graders with their Dr. Seuss banner! We even had a visit from JJ, our school mascot and his new friend DJ, the Duval County Schools' mascot.

Happy Birthday, Dr. Seuss

Today we celebrated Dr. Seuss's birthday with some reading of course and some healthy Grinch kabobs.
