A Graveyard for Dead Words

A sweet treat is a terrific way to end a fun filled week at Beauclerc Elementary School.

Dead Words Writing Celebration

Dead Words Party

Students made headstones for a "Word Graveyard." Using a thesaurus they made lists of stronger, more descriptive words to use in place of dull, boring words. Then we celebrated by decorating headstone cookies.

Writers Put Dead Words to Rest

Beauclerc Visits Jacksonville Symphony

Look how terrific these children looked when they attended a children's concert of the Jacksonville Symphony. Thank you Ms. Laymon for inviting us.

Fourth Graders Celebrate Meeting Goals

Students enjoyed hearing about A Gaggle of Geese from Carlla Cato at our Reading Celebration.
