Merry Merry Christmas

Hope you are all enjoying your Winter Break.  See you in 2013!

Last School Day for 2012

Our last school day for 2012 was filled with learning and fun.  We began our day in our pajamas and  enjoyed the Orf Ensemble and the 5th grade chorus.  Eleanor and Alana were our favorites!  We finished reading Sadako and the Thousand Paper Cranes by Eleanor Coerr (and we only cried a little).  Then we tried to make our own paper origami cranes.  We finished our day by stepping back in time to 1955 and wrote get-well letters to Sadako.

Holiday Fun

Fun-filled day in the Donnelly/Jenkins 4th grade class.  Candy cane tug-o-war, snowball relay, snowman relay and a team challenge...a few rounds of Junior Outburst! What a day!

Science Fair Project

Students get some hands-on learning about the scientific method.

Making Wreath Ornaments

Students enjoyed making gifts for their families.  We began with lots of pieces of jigsaw puzzles and some glue.  Add a little spray paint and then some finishing touches and you have a wreath picture frame, a snowflake and Rudolph.  Hope their parents enjoy these for many years!

December Flag Raising

Mrs. Donnelly and I have the sweetest, most adorable students.  We enjoyed our December flag raising, singing along with the Beauclerc 5th grade chorus and listening to some of the Jacksonville Giants basketball team.  Remember Beauclerc - meeting your reading goal = basketball game tickets!
