Ready to Start a Brand New School Year!

Mrs. Donnelly and Mrs. Jenkins are getting ready to begin a brand new school year. We are so excited to meet all of our fourth graders as we map our journey for a successful year together.

Back-to-School Supply List

Grade 4 Donnelly/Jenkins School Supplies

ê 4 large packages of wide ruled notebook paper with holes (We will store this to have available when needed by students)

ê 4 packages of 24 yellow #2 pencils (We will store this to have available when needed by students)

ê A two-inch 3 ring binder (Please no Trapper Keeper types)

ê 1 package of 5 dividers for a 3 ring binder

ê pencil pouch for 3-ring binder

ê 1 set of headphones for the computer to be left at school

Donations of the following classroom items would be greatly appreciated:

ê Tissues

ê Clorox wipes

ê 1-gallon ziplock bags

ê Liquid hand soap

ê Hand sanitizer

ê Bag of individually wrapped treats

Dear Parents, Each year we ask you to join PTA to support our school. By simply sending in $5 you will make it possible for our PTA to provide many enriching activities for you child that would not be possible without your contribution. Thanks for a Terrific School Year!

Dear Students, I wanted to let you know what a terrific year this was for me. In my 22 years of teaching I do not remember having such a group of sweet and super smart students. You motivated me from the first week of school back in August to think outside of the box, to reflect on my teaching, and to come up with ways to challenge you each day. I have watched you all grow as readers and writers as you exceeded my expectations for fourth graders. I am so proud of each of you the way you devoured book after book and inspired me to try new genres just like I tell you all the time. I was blown away with your love for writing as you tried each genre: narrative, expository, pen-pal letters, poetry and reports. Remember to continue reading all summer so that you are ready to share the books you discover with your new teacher. I look forward to watching you blossom into the best Beauclerc 5th graders.
