Our New Pen Pal LCpL Thomas Spooner

Students in Mrs. Jenkins' homeroom have been writing letters to LCpl Thomas Spooner, USMC. Thomas is a great friend of Mrs. Jenkins' daughter Jaclyn. This is a old photo of them at Mandarin High when they were in the NJROTC program. Both have joined the Marine Corps. Thomas is stationed in Bahrain, an island country in the Persian Gulf. This month we sent him brownies and Skittles (his favorite candy) with lots of letters.
